The dap UK cycling club recorded another success last week when it won the team prize in the fiercely contested Godric CC 25 raced over a 25 mile course in the Waveney Valley.
The conditions for racing were not particularly good with a rising crosswind badly affecting the Redenhall to Bungay Course. However despite this and being further down in the starting order dap’s Harley Matthews powered through the field and claimed first place.
Whilst on the way to victory Harley also smashed the course record by setting a new time of 51:37 mins. His team mate Mark Richards came in second over two and a half minutes behind him.
These two riders with the addition of a fine performance by the third member of the team, Louis Julian, helped dap UK CC to take the team prize.
